Social Media Marketing
I've been working as the Social Media Manager for Manor Mill, a creative hub in Monkton, MD since August 2023. Marketing is all storytelling, which is why I love what I do! Working with Manor Mill has given me the opportunity to work with artists from all around Maryland and share their stories.
I've recently branched out to offering my expertise in the form of consulting and batch content creation. If you're a creative business owner looking for some advice on social media marketing or would like me to help you tell your story, please reach out!
Telling Stories
Meet an Artist
I visited Se Jong's Baltimore-based studio in November of 2024 to help promote Manor Mill's "Abstraction" exhibit. "Meet an Artist" is an ongoing series that showcases artists from all around Maryland. See more Meet an Artist videos here.
Showcasing Art
Cellar Dwellers Exhibit
I had so much fun creating a horror-themed trailer for this exhibit by Manor Mill's curator, Brad Blair. It was mid-October, perfectly timed for Halloween, but my feet were freezing walking through the tailrace for thar opening shot!
Reaching New Audiences
The Loft at Manor Mill
When my boss asked me to come up with something to advertise our upcoming concerts, I created a video targeting music lovers across Baltimore County. This reel went semi-viral, reaching over 15k viewers and gaining us more than s 400 new followers in two weeks.
Advertising Creatively
Winter Faerie Ball
Part of what I love about working at an arts center is that creativity is part of the job. When advertising on social media, my number one rule is that content shouldn't advertise, but rather, it should Connect, Inform, or Entertain. With reels, emphasis is on the entertainment!
